Federal Law on Second Homes

A new law on second homes was adopted in March 2015. For the municipalities that have attained the 20% threshold for second homes, it provides the following specific provisions:

Homes that already existed as at 11.03.2012 or for which planning permission had been obtained before this date are not affected by the changes to the law.
An extension of up to 30% of the useable area of pre-existing secondary homes is tolerated.
It will be possible to build tourist accommodation.
